There is a major theme that I picked up from the storyline, which is that you should take the initiative because you will never know if you don’t try. I think if my boss took a transatlantic flight to get me to come back, I would take it as a major compliment. Charlie and Kennedy had some type of spark and he appears to be the type of man that she prefers. The property manager, Kennedy, added to the suspense. The danger of the storm that hits the island is palpable, and I felt anxiety as they worried about the cottage surviving the storm. Understandably, Lachlan has a lot of guilt. Charlie’s feelings of independence border on a feminist standpoint and she seems to unleash this attitude on Lachlan. Sofia Sawyer excels in building tension between two people who feel attraction for each other. Now, Charlie and Lachlan are stuck weathering a massive hurricane in a house that may not survive the storm.
